摘要

Aspergillus carbonarius and other black Aspergilli, are responsible for ochratoxin A (OTA) production in grapes. Correct identification of these species is essential for risk assessment of grape and wine. Microarray technology offers quick and parallel analysis of a various DNA targets. During EU GoodFood WP3 activity a low-complexity oligonucleotide microarray (OLISA~(TM), APIBIO, F) based on DNA oligonucleotide probes, obtained from sequences of the fungal calmodulin gene, was developed. This microarray prove to be highly sensitive and specific and may represent a good tool for an early detection of the major OTA -producing Aspergillus species and to prevent OTA entering the grape-wine chain.
