AIYasat Lighthouse

Safe Sea Services (a part of the Tide-land Signal Group) was contracted by the Abu Dhabi Government to build this structure in October 2010.The lighthouse was conceived as an aid to navigation (AtoN) requirement for safe passage in the sea area which is witnessing a rapid growth of vessel traffic to new ports and harbours in the vicinity. It was completed in December 201 I and commissioned early in 2012. Designed and built in an Arabic style with a focal height of 30+ metres and a range of 20 nautical miles (nms), it is a sight to behold. At 22 nms from the nearest harbour and 6nms from the nearest island the logistics in building such a structure were very demanding.%La société Safe Sea Services (faisant partie du groupe Tideland Signal) a été contactée par le Gouvernement d'Abu Dhabi pour construire cette structure en octobre 2010 sur un récif. L'analyse locale appropriée a été faite. Le feu a été achevé en décembre 2011 et mis en service au début de 2012. Con?u et construit dans un style arabe avec une hauteur du plan focal de plus de 30 mètres et une portée de 20 MN, il dispose d'une vue à contempler.
