Essar Port invests in Beira coal terminal expansion

In August 2017, Essarsigned a 30-year concessionagreement with theGovernment of Mozambiqueto build and operatea new coal handling facilityin the port of Beira.The terminal is beingdeveloped in two stages,each of which will havethe capacity to handle 10Mtpa. Phase one is scheduledto open imminently,with phase two followinga year later.
