Sampling system of the fourth stage coal terminal of Qinhuangdao port-the world's biggest coal terminal

The loading port of Qinhuangdao (P.R. of China)is of great national and international importance. The extensionof its coal terminal by a fourth stage necessitated a newautomatic sampling and sample preparation system. Samples renecessary for quality control and commercial purposes. Thevery high coal handling volume makes high demands on acontinuous, reliable and representative sampling and samplepreparation. The report describes details of engineering. Thesampling system will be put into operation in the middle of year 1997.
