Italy-based Techint has further strengthened its mining and bulk handling equipment portfolio with the acquisition of Takraf GmbH, based in Leipzig, Germany. The purchase has been made through Tenova, a 100% Techint affiliate specialising in technologies and equipment for the mining, steel and bulk handling industries. The deal is subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.
