Grain deal for Winnipeg

CentrePort Canada has signed an agreement to develop a facility to containerise agricultural products for export to Chongqing in China. CentrePort has ambitious plans to develop a 20,000 acre inland port in Winnipeg, Manitoba, linking trucking, air freight and rail services. The agreement was signed with Minsheng International Freight Co, Shanghai Invent Logistics & Technology Co, CN Worldwide and Canadian Pacific Logistics Solutions and calls for a new facility to load soybeans, peas and canola into containers.
