CN puts northern line on hold

The Canadian National Railway (CN) has stopped work on a feasibility study into an 800km rail line linking the Labrador Mining Trough region to the Port of Sept-Iles in Northern Quebec. CN was working on the study with several mining companies and a Quebec pension fund, but in February announced the project is now on hold indefinitely.
