It's a tough call: as part of a £10bn investment over the next four years, the rail industry has to build 150 new stations and extend platforms to accommodate 1,300 longer train carriages.rnTo help meet this challenge, service providers are turning to Corus Infrastructure Services (CIS) and its modular station platform solution. Using this method, the government and the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR) believe much of the work can be carried out without track possessions and with less time spent disrupting rail services.
