The new premise located at Man Tung Road near the junction of Wai Tung Road is built to cater for the increasing demand of various recreational and community services in Tung Chung. It is a 6 storeys multi-user complex with gross floor area of about 14,400 sq m. It consists of an indoor recreation centre, library, community hall and a residential care home for the elderly. The indoor recreation center on G/F comprises a multi-purpose arena with around 500 spectator seating. Located next to the IRC is a community hall consisting of a multi-purpose hall with a seating capacity of 450. It also comprises a district library occupying G/F and 1/F, andrnan elderly centre from 3/F to 5/F with 150 residential care places.
