National Craft Bakers' Week (NCBW) takes place later this month (8-13 October), with bakers across the country aiming to raise the profile of the craft sector. Hursts Bakery in Wirral plans to showcase it baking and bread-making skills during NCBW, as well as engaging with local schools. It will be helping year six pupils at a local school to decorate gingerbread men, and will provide goodie bags for the children to take home, as well as introducing some new artisan breads.
