Fabienne Verdier: In Cezanne Country

'Reflection, refraction, diffraction, dispersion, oscillation and propagation are at the core of our perception of almost all forms around us.' So says artist Fabienne Verdier, whose work articulates these essential qualities with more clarity and poetry than any other artist I can think of. So it is fitting that, after nearly 40 years of pursuing her distinctive path, this single-minded French artist is being celebrated with her first retrospective, across three locations in Aix-en-Provence.
