Mission to Seafarers, Victoria needs your help in 2009.rnThe Victorian (Australia) arm of this global charity has appealed to all involved in the maritime world to consider the plight of seafarers and to help them in supplying much-needed care and services during long periods of isolation and absence from family and home.rnOver the course of 2008, Mission to Seafarers Victoria Port Chaplains, staff and volunteers have reported hearing many stories of injustice, issues of bullying, loneliness, depression, self-harm and increasing instances of suicide.rnAt the same time, the charity has identified key reasons for falling revenues at a time when need for its counselling and other services is increasing.
