Alu Design to provide chairs for new Australian Customs fleet

Alu Design & Services has secured a substantial contract with Australian ferry and naval ship builder Austal to provide advanced pilot chairs for a new series of eight patrol boats for Australia's Customs and Border Protection fleet. Alu Design will provide a total of 40 chairs for Austal's cutting-edge patrol boats, equipping the ships with lightweight and ergonomically-designed Alutech 200 and Alutech 500 products. Alu Design states the chairs will offer "strength, usability and the upmost in comfort," and will feature integrated tiller holders and trackball functions.
