Liuzhou Yinliu Hotel Management has ordered a Damen Ferry 3508 (DFe 3508), designed by Damen Shipyards and built by Afai Southern, for operations in the city of Liuzhou, northern China. The 35-metre, 100-passenger all-aluminium ferry will be used for receiving government and industry representatives for official meetings and sightseeing tours on the Liujiang River. Delivery is scheduled in early 2013. GMG Shipbuilding & Heavy Industry of China has delivered 'AOS Power' to her owner Atlantic Maritime Group of the UAE. The vessel is the first in the RAmpage 4500 class of anchor-handling tug/supply vessels designed by Robert Allan Ltd of Vancouver, Canada. 'AOS Power' is fully equipped for anchor-handling, ship-assist, long-distance towing operations, firefighting, deck cargo transfers, personnel transfer and other offshore support duties.
