Australian shipbuilder Incat Tasmania launched what it claims to be "the world's first high speed passenger Ro-Ro ship powered by LNG (Liquified Natural Gas)" in November. Launched to allow vessel completion outside the main shipyard shed, the vessel has been moored to enable the final stage of construction and commissioning of machinery. The sea trial period has been set for late January 2013.
