Hong Kong-based shipbuilder Bonny Fair has recently delivered the 'Fast Cat M1', a groundbreaking new Ro-Pax catamaran ferry for Filipino transport company Achipelago Philippine Ferries Corporation. Designed by Australian naval architects Sea Transport Solutions, the 50.64 metre by 17.5 metre vessel heralds a new era of marine transport in the Philippines. Fully automated and classed to IACS, the vessel brings a new level of safety and reliability to a nation that has been consistently beset by tragic ferry accidents.
