A ceremony took place on June 9 at CFB Bagotville, Quebec to mark 433 Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS) being re-formed. The unit is equipped with CF-188 Hornets. Plus, the Maritime Proving and Evaluation Unit (MP&EU) has become 415 Long Range Patrol Force Development Squadron. It will focus on operational testing, evaluation, and system engineering in support of the modernised CP-140M Aurora.
