Two llyushin Ⅱ-76s visited the UK as part of the aid relief effort following the earthquake in Nepal. Aviacon Zitotrans Ⅱ-76TD RA-76842 flew into East Midlands Airport from Koltsovo International Airport in Russia on April 30 as ZR9005. The aircraft was operating on behalf of the Department for International Development and departed the following day. It received special dispensation to fly into the UK from the CAA which usually bans such aircraft on noise grounds. Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield welcomed Silk Way Airlines Ⅱ-76TD-90 4K-AZ100 on May 1. The aircraft arrived from Baku as ZP4991 and departed for Nepal later the same day.
