Plans for Qantas A380s Announced

Australian carrier Qantas has revealed plans for its 12-strong contingent of Airbus A380-800s. Speaking on CNBC's Squawk Box Asia programme, Alan Joyce, the group's CEO, said international traffic would take the longest time to recover and, by the financial year of 2022, it's expected Qantas would only operate 50% of such rotations. This, he said, means it could take "three years before we can get our A380s back in the air".
