GM, VW Finally Head to Court in U.S., Germany

General Motors and Volkswagen, continue their legal maneuvering on two continents as both push for action on GM's charges of industrial espionage by J. Ignacio Lopez de Arriortua and his associates. GM served Lopez, VW Chairman Ferdinand Pieech and VW board attorney Jens Neumann with papers to appear in U.S. court in October. VW also has a motion in German court accusing GM of defaming the company. That hearing should take place October 9.
