Cleon lines

Renault has spent ?308 million at its Cleon powertrain plant north west of Paris in Normandy on engine and gearbox production, principally for the manufacture of its new M9R 2-litre dCi turbo diesel engine and the new PK4 six-speed gearbox for Megane Ⅱ, Laguna Ⅱ, Espace Ⅳ and Vel Satis. The powertrain is the first in the history of the alliance between Renault and Nissan to have been co-developed in several respects by the two companies.
