Wants to take the weight off your wiring harness. It will be able to show you its solid aluminium busbars which can weigh up to 60% less than traditional copper designs - on some applications this could mean a 3kg weight saving. The outer diameter is smaller too, so packaging could be improved. The firm is working on prototypes now and expects the first series production application to launch in 2013 in Europe.
