Washington, DC—Only one thing is more cost-effective than advertising to increase the sale of manufactured homes - and that's free advertising. That's exactly what's available to qualified manufactured home retailers that commit to marketing propane homes under a new program funded by the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC). Through the new "Manufactured Housing Partnership Program" individual manufactured home retailers can obtain advertising dollars from the state's propane association to leverage their existing advertising, draw traffic to their businesses and, ultimately, increase sales of propane homes - provided the retailers commit to the following criteria: 1. showcase at least one propane home at each of their sales centers; 2. display propane-specific sales materials in model homes; 3. provide training to their sales representatives on communicating the features and benefits of propane homes to prospective customers; and 4. communicate the benefits and availability of propane homes to potential customers.
