HISTORY OF THE APJ - 75th Anniversary

The editor of the first issue of the Australian Police Journal, in 1946, got it right when he wrote this 'marks the commencement of an undertaking which must necessarily have for its basis of success the unstinted support of the Police of the Commonwealth'. Thankfully, that 'unstinted support' has been consistently provided. This September 2021 edition marks 75 years of the APJ providing informative and educational articles about policing. The APJ has evolved over time and now includes occasional articles from civilian authors writing about policing incidents and issues, but the focus of the APJ will always be articles about police, written for police.
