School-produced wine quality impresses at Show

Adelaide-based wine writer Phillip White applauded the quality of wine produced by Australian high school and college students at the Australian Schools Wine Show (ASWS) on 5 June 2006. As chief judge of the ASWS for the second consecutive year, White said the quality of wines he saw over the day would outshine many of the commercial classes in national wine shows. Winner of the Class B White Wine category, Stanthorpe High School from Queensland produced a particularly impressive Marsanne wine, scoring 17 points.
