Quality and energy savings on the rise: Continuous flotation impresses NZ winery

New Zealand winery Indevin recently put a continuous flotation system to work for the first time and is boasting the results. The purchase of a continuous flotation system has allowed the Marlborough-based winery to save time, reduce costs and improvequality and yield of grape juice. The machine is the fourth flotation machine installed by the winery and was used for the first time this year at its Blenheim operations site — New Zealand's largest independent contract winemaking facility Indevin operations general manager Dean Caughey said the continuous flotation system has enabled the winery to double its flotation capacity and significantly save on processing time.
