In this Jubilee issue of the Bulletin we have the opportunity to reflect on the history of AMSA WA. This has been a very interesting project to undertake and I would like to thank all those AMSA WA members I consulted to obtain the information in this article, especially Anne Brearley, Di Walker and Fred Wells. It should also be noted this is a brief account of the history of AMSA WA, and there are many people, contributions and activities that couldn't be mentioned.
