Singapore's M1 eyes countrywide LIE service by 2012

Singapore telecom operator M1 aims to launch LTE across the country by the first quarter of 2012. According to M1 spokesperson Ivan Lim, the company has sought approval from IDA to accommodate LTE and other services in its current license. The new network will be able to encompass consumer as well as enterprise segments. M1's infrastructure will be built on the 1.8GHz or 2.6GHz bands.
