As a result, people have shifted from transferring simple text-only documents to sending voice and other audio information, still images, animation and moving pictures. It takes digital circuitry and swift data-transmission technologies to handle such kinds of information. In turn, CPUs and LSIs nowadays use much larger currents than their counterparts in the past.
