Elexcon2014, an exhibition of electronic components in China, was held in Shenzhen, China from Nov. 16 to 21. At the show, about 240 companies showcased new products and technologies, including electronic components, semiconductors, materials, and electronic manufacturing services in China (Photo 1). Japanese electronic components and semiconductor manufacturers promoted their products and technologies, targeting automotive, information and communication technology (ICT), including smartphones, and industrial equipment fields.
