The value of MSS upgrade and supply contracts signed in the first half of 2009 amounted to US$ 827 million. The cost of declared intentions (along with tenders and direct purchases) is estimated at US$ 4.46 billion. Given below for comparison are statistics for contracts signed in 2008 and in the rnprevious 8 years plus the supplies under the existing order book as of 1 January 2009 for delivery in 2009-2012. It should be borne in mind that the contracts signed in the first half of 2009 will increase the supplies calculated as of 1 January 2009.
