Since starting AMA I've been very interested in mobile arcbitecture. I continue to argue tbat creating boundaries and enabling control of tbose boundaries is a bigbly political act. Boundaries are spatially violent to tbose tbat do not control tbem and by extension everytbing architects create is politically charged weather it is our intention or not. A mobile architecture is a democratic architecture by allowing boundaries to shift and change. Mobile architecture allows temporary control over public space, which has great potential to empower outsiders to the urban norm. Furthermore a mobile architecture, as illustrated by the 'occupy' movement, enables hit and run guerrilla tactics within the built environment.
