'From my own experience as a student and exploring other study environments across Melbourne (including other universities and community libraries) I believe Deakin Waterfront campus successfully delivers an effective learning environment. The celebration of diverse spaces encourages students to learn in multiple ways, which is essential to self-development. It also strengthens the sense of student community, as students who utilise the campus spaces can discuss, collaborate, critique and motivate each other outside teaching hours. This kind of experience can't be substituted by online courses. Located within a small city, the campus and Woolstores provides valuable opportunities for learning and development as an aspiring architect.'
