We would like to thank Riede et al. for their insightful and helpful comments on our recent paper. We agree that reports of such high current densities in the systems studied here require careful scrutiny and adamant discussion. We welcome the opportunity to provide further clarification about our measurements. There are essentially two points made by Riede et al. which we address here: (1) the correspondence between the integrated current in Fig. 2 and the reported current in Fig. 3 for devices we have labeled D1, and (2) is the very high current densities reported in Fig. 3 for devices labeled D2.
