The North American Association for Environmental Education will hold its 36th annual conference, "Come to the Coast: Explore New Horizons for Environmental Education," from November 14-17, 2007 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Proposals are currently being accepted for various strands, which include sustainability education, service learning, environmental justice and cultural history, community and conservation education, technology and environmental education, marine and aquatic education, and fund raising (leadership development). Sessionrnformats include 30-45 minute traditional presentations, poster session, and one hour forty-five minutes each of hands-on session, symposium, and round table discussions. The last date for submissions of proposals isJanuary 31,2007.
