摘要

4-nitrophenol is degraded by H_2O_2 with iron (III)-exchanged and pillared montmorillonite as catalysts. The influence of different types of catalysts, their amounts and the H_2O_2 concentration were investigated. At optimal conditions, a solution containing 10~-3 M of 4-nitrophenol and 10~-2 M of H_2O_2 was degraded in less than 6 h in the presence of (1 g/l) of mixed (Al- Fe) pillared montmorilonite (prepared by pillaring montmorillonite with mixed Al and Fe oxides).
