The Three Phases of Connectivity: Networking's New Frontier

This paper explains how and why network connectivity is becoming and will increasingly be one of the most significant value-adds for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of electronic devices. By setting out three phases of device connectivity evolution—interconnectivity, intelligent and intuitive—it outlines the current and future development of device networking. It explains the competitive advantage that OEMs can build into their products through advancing levels of device connectivity and it offers guidance on the key development issues and technical considerations.
