Westernmost skirmish site pinpointed at last

An area about 80 miles east of Yuma, Ariz., has long been known as the setting of the westernmost Civil War skirmish, but just exactly where was unknown until Eagle Scout Lucas Daniel, 17, and his father, Tony Daniel, a former history teacher and the leader of his son's Troop 8400, set out to find it. Together they managed to pinpoint the exact position where the Stanwix Station battle occurred on March 29,1862, and with the help of volunteers, have installed two informational kiosks.
