On page 32 of the May 2012 issue, there is an error in the water rates cited by Steve Maxwell in the Market Outlook column (Water Is Still Cheap: Demonstrating the True Value of Water). The article states: "Columbus, Ohio, the center of the humid Midwest, pays more than $20 per thousand gallons, or 2 cents per gallon, the highest of any major US city surveyed in the recent GWI [Global Water Intelligence] study." In fact, the city of Columbus is far below that amount, charging only about $0.0037, or about a third of a cent.
