摘要

After reading the article PCCP Risk Management-State of the Art and Strategy Optimization by John Roller (published in the July 2013 issue of Journal AWWA), we believe it contains serious inaccuracies and misrepresentations. Our concern is that utilities following the advice provided therein may underestimate the deterioration and risk of failure in their prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) pipelines.
