Ground Water Rule Compliance

Triggered source water monitoring is required for any groundwater system that is not conducting GWR compliance monitoring for 4-log treatment of viruses. If the utility is notified of a positive total coliform result under the TCR routine sampling, triggered source water monitoring is used to determine whether fecal contamination is present in the groundwater source.
