This document presents the first short term goal of the Treatment Technology211u001eTeam, created by OGWDW, as a result of the 1996 SDWA Amendments. The document is 211u001ean annotated list of treatment technologies that can be used by small water 211u001esystems to comply with the surface water treatment rule (SWTR) and total coliform 211u001erule (TCR). The document describes treatment technologies listed in the SWTR and 211u001eTCR as well as those not listed.
