Gender Bias and Temporal Effects in Standard Evaluations of Teaching

摘要

Current research shows that to understand mean comparisons of faculty evaluations across courses we must consider student, faculty, and course characteristics (Linask and Monks 2018). Our results indicate that it is also important to understand the dynamics of evaluation scores within a course over the semester. This provides several opportunities for future research.
