A New Cleaning Solution

There is a new contender for a replacement for perchloroethylene, the solvent that is used by approximately 85% of dry cleaners today. The new liquid is being called a "solution" rather than a solvent, simply because it is such a radical departure from what drycleaners have used in the past. It has been tested and found to be completely free of any RCRA or CERCLA requirements, nor is it listed on California's Proposition 65.
