What do you do when your plant is bursting at the seams with work and there's no place left to put it? If you're Holly Cleaners, a successful drycleaner based in Newton, Mass., you think outside the original box. "Every square inch of our 8,000-sq.-ft. plant was jam-packed with clothes," company president Jeffrey Davidson says. "We knew we were too crowded, so we searched around for an industrial location where we could run our delivery routes and move the drycleaning plant. Then we found a 6,000-sq.-ft., 'off-retail' location in the next town. It's right off the main drag, but you can see the facility from the street.
