Aviles makes list of top NYC entrepreneurs

Victoria Aviles, owner of Bridge Cleaners and King Garment Care in New York, made 2009's list of top entrepreneurs in American Dry-cleaner's sister publication, Crain 's New York Business. With business down 20% during the recession, Aviles has responded by adding new sources or revenue, in recent weeks, she has started cleaning pillows and organizing linen and clothing closets. Last month, she started repairing and polishing shoes and selling her proprietary Lady Victoria clothing detergent. "I am willing to do anything in the world to keep the business growing," she says.
