Alkoxy-derived kTOP_4 (KTP) fibers

Crack-free and dense KiiPO_4 (KTP) fibers could be suc- cessfully syntesized through metallo-organics. A homoge- neous, drawable KTP precursor solution was prepared from the reaction of (~nBuO)_2P(O)(OH), Ti(Oet)_4, and KOP at 650 deg C for 0.5 h. ITP fibers were a few centimeters In length and 10-150 μm in diameter. The density of the KTP fibers was higher than 2.97 g/cm~3 (>98/100 of theoret- Ical density).
