I opened the business when I moved to Germany, 5 years ago. I began my business in the same way that a lot of cake decorators do; as a hobbyist - out of my home - in Spain. The name comes from my second name, which is "Alma" and "Pasteles" which is the Spanish word for cake. I discovered my love for cake decoration during the time that I lived with my family in Madrid and I wanted to pay homage to the Spanish influence. I initially created cakes for friends and family and my passion for decorating grew from there. After I opened my business in 2012 and moved to Munich, I started to specialize in wedding cakes.
