Art Nouveau Meets Cake Artist

Art Nouveau was an ornamental style of art that flourished between 1890 and 1910 throughout Europe and the United States. Long graceful and organic lines adorned the pieces during this era to express movement in a stylized form. I was inspired by this period to create the style in edible art and around 120 other sugar artists joined me in creating their own masterpieces inspired by Art Nouveau. The Cake Collective welcomes all skill levels to take part. We see collaborations as a great way to get to know our fellow cake and sugar artists while we practice our skills and learn new ones. The overall representation of the era was quite amazing, and I love the outcome.
