Where is your cake space? At my home. It used to be the garage and follows on from my kitchen. How long has it taken to get to this level of functionality? We've lived in this house for seven years now, so seven years. Each year we have added something to help me with storage or space. How much time do you spend in your cake cave per week? Sundays are the only day of the week where I try and keep the door closed to my studio. The rest of the week I am in there a minimum of eight hours a day. Thursday and Fridays can be 14 to 16 hours. What would you change or add? I would always add more space. I'm a cake-tool junkie! Most savvy storage idea? My worktable. I love it. It's a workbench that has storage draws for my modeling tools, spatulas, bench scrapers, and rolling pins. It also cranks up and down, so if I'm working on fine details I can sit comfortably or stand without bending over too much. It is such a back saver, and with all my tools right there it saves me so many steps.
